About the AMA Series:

The District 4 MX/ATV Riders Association was formed in the fall of 2001 as an effort to bring an AMA sanctioned racing series to the Western NY area. The series now includes 4 superb racing tracks with a full season of racing.  The District 4 series tracks offer a wide rage of terrain with everything from the really tight and technical stuff to the wide open "Unadilla" style hills and gullies.  The series runs according to the applicable AMA motocross rules plus the District 4 supplemental rules.  The AMA oversees all of the premier motorcycle events across the United States .  Motocross racing series such as the North East Classic Series, Loretta Lynn Championship, Maxxis Grand National Series, and GNCC Series are all AMA and/or ATVA sanctioned.  With this sanctioning now in District 4 we can start drawing big races and contingencies to the area with local rider recognition through national classification.  Also with almost 300,000 members the AMA and ATVA give unparalleled support to motorcycle enthusiasts across the nation.   Members enjoy dozens of benefits, including discounts on specialized insurance, vehicle rental, lodging, motorcycle training, eyewear, long-distance telephone service and bike shipping. Those discounts, and optional benefits like roadside assistance and trip-routing programs, can easily pay back more than the $39 cost of annual dues. The best thing about the series is that it is geared toward rider support.  There are immense amounts of awards and payback from each track and for the year end.
