Invitation to Plan for the Future of the Town of Lockport
By webess
Sep 10, 2005, 09:16

The Town of Lockport is preparing a Trails, Pathways and Connectivity Plan. The Connectivity Plan looks at potential new trails and pathways to make it easier to walk or bike throughout the Town and to link key features of the Town, such as parks, residential neighborhoods, commercial centers and natural features. As part of this project, two public meetings are scheduled for the public to make comments and offer ideas regarding these issues. We are inviting representatives from your organization to attend this meeting. We are also enclosing a poster about the public meetings, which we hope you will post and/or distribute to your members.

The meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, September 27 at the Wright’s Corners Fire Station and Wednesday, September 28 at the Town Hall Auditorium. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and the presentation begins at approximately 7:00 p.m. There will be ample opportunity for those attending to provide comments or ask questions. All residents in the Town who are interested in walkways, bike paths or other connections within their neighborhoods and throughout the Town are encouraged to attend one of these meetings and submit their ideas and concerns. If you cannot attend, you are invited to submit comments or suggestions in writing to:
